A surprisingly useful lesson from a neighborhood park with a quiet constraint
My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 9 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Anime feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.
Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether constraint stayed easy. I am curious whether seasonal still feels good next month. I can already hear the menu music.

This is useful for some cases, but terrible advice if the stakes are high. My friend tried it in Manila and had the opposite result.

The kindness in this post is lovely. I would write it down before changing anything else.

The vibe here is immaculate. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the train station.

Totally agree, especially for beginners.

I wish more posts had this much context. I noticed the same thing in Cape Town.
