A tiny story about pierogi, Buenos Aires and timing after a tiny failure

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 9 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. chemistry got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Mildly negative take: the simple version is sometimes just underexplained. The rainy evening version is even more interesting. Now I want to read the paper behind it.
