What shoes looks like when you stop optimizing everything after a tiny failure

I started this because my quiet Sunday felt a little stuck, and training seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where 5k stopped feeling new.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 10 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. I keep a note about marathon for exactly this reason.

That is the part people skip.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. For me it came down to the playlist.
