A beginner mistake I am weirdly glad I made from my desk

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Startups feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 8 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

That last line is excellent. I would write it down before changing anything else.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

Helpful correction.

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. The busy month version is even more interesting.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. The 8-minute rule is underrated.
