My 4-month experiment with photos without making it complicated

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. photos got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Photography feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. I would test it for 5 days before deciding.

That is a good boundary.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

This made me smile more than expected. The social part surprised me too.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether complicated stayed easy. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing. I like that it feels lived-in instead of over-polished.

The conclusion is too broad, but the example is interesting. The quiet part is easy to underestimate. The texture and mood are lovely.

I do not have a strong take, but the without detail is useful. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.
