Notes from a very normal rainy evening with Cars for absolute beginners

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I started this because my rainy evening felt a little stuck, and maintenance seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

I would push back gently on the rainy part. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

@dev_thandi14 That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

I wish more posts had this much context. This is more useful on a tired rainy evening than on a perfect day. Recovery is training too.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

Exactly; the hidden cost is energy.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

You just saved me a bad purchase.

Can you expand on that a bit?

I wonder how much of this depends on timing.
