What I wish I knew before trying architecture after 11 tries

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 3 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Mildly negative take: the simple version is sometimes just underexplained. I noticed the same thing in Jakarta. The boring solution is probably the reliable one here.

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.
