What I wish I knew before trying recipes

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 8 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. recipes got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 9 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Really good advice, and it feels doable. That is where the boring checklist helps.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. This is more useful on a tired winter than on a perfect day.
