The thing nobody told me about family that actually stuck

this is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. kindness got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I tried this in Dublin with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more then the perfect plan.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the prototype for a while

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether family stayed easy. My friend tried it in Madrid and had the opposite result

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me

That is a good question for people with more experience than me. This is more useful on a tired commute than on a perfect day

Did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist? The first week version is even more interesting
