The small espresso habit that changed my commute

I tried this in Cape Town with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

The detail that surprised me was how much the kitchen changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. The cozy constraint is probably the real story.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

Noted, and thank you.

Can you expand on that a bit?

I laughed, but you are not wrong.

I would love a follow-up example.

Could be regional too.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

Beautifully concise.

I am stealing that phrase.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

Kind of wild how often constraint is the whole issue.

I needed the reminder to start smaller.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. I would love to see a follow-up after 10 weeks.

The kindness in this post is lovely. The simple version is usually the one people actually repeat.

The Tuesday test is undefeated.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. I would test it for 8 days before deciding.

That is a good boundary.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. I keep a note about espresso for exactly this reason.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether changed stayed easy. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a trailhead.

Can you share what you tried before this? I would love to see a follow-up after 9 weeks.
