I tried doing film the boring way and it worked after a tiny failure
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 4 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.
I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I am cheering for this update. It sounds small, but the playlist matters.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. I would love to see a follow-up after 3 weeks.

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself. The the library detail changes the whole answer. The second half changed how I felt about the beginning.

Good reminder that boring can be good. The quiet constraint is probably the real story.

This made me smile more than expected. I would love to see a follow-up after 10 weeks.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. I noticed the same thing in Warsaw. That scene lives rent-free in my head.

The kindness in this post is lovely. The messy part is easy to underestimate.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience.

My first thought was cost, then time, then whether I would remember to do it. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. I would test it for 8 days before deciding.

Big fan of this approach. That is the kind of detail beginners miss. The second half changed how I felt about the beginning.

I like this more than the top-level advice.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether film stayed easy. I would test it for 10 days before deciding.

The vibe here is immaculate. My friend tried it in Cairo and had the opposite result.

This is the kind of disagreement I like.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. This pairs weirdly well with falafel.

Honestly, great taste. My friend tried it in Lagos and had the opposite result.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. I would love to see a follow-up after 2 weeks.
