The thing nobody told me about clubs that actually stuck
The detail that surprised me was how much a trailhead changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.
My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 4 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.
I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

Good reminder that boring can be good. The 6-minute rule is underrated. A tailwind can fix an entire personality for ten minutes.

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

Good reminder that boring can be good. For me it came down to the routine. That route sounds like type-two fun.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. I learned that one the expensive way.

Big fan of this approach. My friend tried it in Kuala Lumpur and had the opposite result.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.
