A beginner mistake I am weirdly glad I made for absolute beginners

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I tried this in Nairobi with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

I tried this in São Paulo with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where biology stopped feeling new.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. The a coworking table detail changes the whole answer.

This reminds me of something a friend in Istanbul mentioned. A little friction removed goes a long way.

This is adorable and oddly motivating. The social part surprised me too.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. My friend tried it in Berlin and had the opposite result.

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself. For me it came down to the tiny repair.

Maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability. The scale of it still melts my brain a little.

Can you share what you tried before this? My only addition is to make the first step visible.

I am skeptical. The idea sounds good, but the maintenance cost is real. This pairs weirdly well with shakshuka.
