I finally understand why Curious people care about questions after a tiny failure

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. explainers got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 2 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I would not call it wrong, just incomplete. The 6-minute rule is underrated.

Maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. This is more useful on a tired first week than on a perfect day. I appreciate when people separate evidence from speculation.

I think the bad version of this advice causes a lot of frustration. I would love to see a follow-up after 9 weeks.
