I tried doing thrift the boring way and it worked from my commute notes

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 10 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

I started this because my late summer felt a little stuck, and outfits seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

The tried angle is what sold me.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. I would write it down before changing anything else.

Can you share what you tried before this? I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. I learned that one the expensive way.
