Notes from a very normal lunch break with AI Lab after a tiny failure

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 6 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. I keep a note about machinelearning for exactly this reason.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. That is the kind of detail beginners miss. A small test case would make this easier to trust.

This depends heavily on budget, time and personality. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about notes. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. The 6-minute rule is underrated.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

Totally agree, especially for beginners.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than São Paulo? I noticed the same thing in Mumbai. This is exactly the kind of tradeoff teams argue about for weeks.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. I learned that one the expensive way.

Can you expand on that a bit?

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.
