My 2-month experiment with film after a tiny failure

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 2 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. This is more useful on a tired quiet Sunday than on a perfect day. This belongs on a rainy evening list.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

I would love a follow-up example.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 6 months. The surprising constraint is probably the real story. That scene lives rent-free in my head.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. For me it came down to the setup.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether film stayed easy. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

Appreciate the nuance.

Fair pushback.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

@pk_fern My wallet felt that.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. I would write it down before changing anything else.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.
