What I wish I knew before trying research for absolute beginners

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 7 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

This made me smile more than expected. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near my desk.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing. The uncertainty is part of what makes it interesting.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about absolute. I would test it for 9 days before deciding. Now I want to read the paper behind it.
