A beginner mistake I am weirdly glad I made that actually stuck

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 2 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. kids got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Great point, especially the part about made. That is where the boring checklist helps.

Adding this to my notes.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. The late summer version is even more interesting.

Can you share what you tried before this? The low-effort version is probably the keeper.
