My 9-month experiment with console before coffee

I started this because my lunch break felt a little stuck, and pc seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the route for a while.

I tried this in Cairo with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I am cheering for this update. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

This is useful for some cases, but terrible advice if the stakes are high. I learned that one the expensive way.

That is a good boundary.

Kind of wild how often terrible is the whole issue.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. A little friction removed goes a long way.

Maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

This made me smile more than expected. The real boss fight is finding a night everyone is free.
