A tiny story about mango sticky rice, Jakarta and timing without making it complicated

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 5 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

I started this because my late summer felt a little stuck, and questions seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the setup for a while.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where advice stopped feeling new.

Great point, especially the part about sticky.

This has cozy competence written all over it. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a coworking table. Glad you shared the messy version too.

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation. I would test it for 3 days before deciding.

I disagree a bit. story matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a family dinner.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. The low-effort version is probably the keeper. Small progress still counts.
