Explain Like I'm Five · by Valeria López · 2026-10-04

The small explainers habit that changed my rainy evening from a coworking table

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I started this because my busy month felt a little stuck, and questions seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 4 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it

What would you change if you started over? That is where the boring checklist helps
