I tried doing indie the boring way and it worked from my Monday morning notes

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where console stopped feeling new.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 7 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Madrid? I noticed the same thing in Istanbul.

Adding this to my notes.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. The gentle constraint is probably the real story. The real boss fight is finding a night everyone is free.

I disagree a bit. morning matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. I would test it for 9 days before deciding.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. I would write it down before changing anything else. I can already hear the menu music.

Useful intention, poor execution. The weekend version is even more interesting. Backlog guilt is a shared cultural experience.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. The gentle part is easy to underestimate.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are.
