Notes from a very normal winter with Curious from my late summer notes

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 6 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. evidence got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

I wish more posts had this much context. The social part surprised me too. The scale of it still melts my brain a little.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. I noticed the same thing in São Paulo. I appreciate when people separate evidence from speculation.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

This comment has main-character footnote energy.

Good reminder that boring can be good. That is where the boring checklist helps.

Good reminder that boring can be good. I would love to see a follow-up after 3 weeks.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. This is more useful on a tired winter than on a perfect day. The scale of it still melts my brain a little.

Useful intention, poor execution. I would write it down before changing anything else.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. I used to overcomplicate this constantly. Now I want to read the paper behind it.

Yep, the boring details matter.

I laughed, but you are not wrong.

The notes angle is what sold me. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. I would test it for 5 days before deciding.

@pl_lantern The Tuesday test is undefeated.

Helpful correction.

The boring logistics are always the hidden part. I noticed the same thing in Mumbai.

My first thought was cost, then time, then whether I would remember to do it. I keep a note about learning for exactly this reason.
