The small tools habit that changed my first week that actually stuck

The detail that surprised me was how much the train station changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

Big fan of this approach. The low-effort version is probably the keeper. Naming things remains undefeated as the hardest problem.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. I learned that one the expensive way.

I disagree a bit. habit matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. That is where the boring checklist helps.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

The boring logistics are always the hidden part. For me it came down to the routine.
