Worth reading if you like culture: Internet archive without making it complicated

The detail that surprised me was how much a tiny balcony changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the recipe for a while.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

The kindness in this post is lovely. A little friction removed goes a long way. Public transit stories are secretly sociology stories.

This reminds me of something a friend in Jakarta mentioned. I am curious whether science still feels good next month.

The vibe here is immaculate. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

Fair pushback.

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself.

Anecdote beats theory here.
