My 4-month experiment with cookies

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I tried this in Melbourne with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the conversation for a while.

This reminds me of something a friend in Kuala Lumpur mentioned. I would write it down before changing anything else. Now I'm hungry, which feels unfair.

I would love a follow-up example.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. I learned that one the expensive way.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. The busy month version is even more interesting. A squeeze of lemon would probably wake it up.
