I changed one thing and suddenly cinema made sense from my late summer notes

I tried this in Lagos with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 2 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

The detail that surprised me was how much the train station changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

I would love a follow-up example.

Could be regional too.

Thanks for making it less intimidating.

I needed the reminder to start smaller.

Can you expand on that a bit?

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. My friend tried it in Warsaw and had the opposite result.

This is one of those ideas that looks great online and falls apart on Tuesday. The Lagos example makes it feel concrete.

Good reminder that boring can be good.

I am cheering for this update. For me it came down to the tiny repair.

The vibe here is immaculate. That is where the boring checklist helps.

I do not have a strong take, but the suddenly detail is useful. This pairs weirdly well with sourdough.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the corner shop.
