Ask Orbit · by Emir Kaya · 2026-10-05

How do you stay consistent when advice gets boring when life is busy?

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Ask Orbit feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 9 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I would ask what outcome you want in two weeks, not in some ideal future. That makes the choice much clearer. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

Short answer: yes. Long answer: also yes.

My practical advice is to make the next step tiny enough that you can do it today. Momentum usually answers half the question. It sounds small, but the route matters.
