I tried doing indie the boring way and it worked in real life

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 4 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

The detail that surprised me was how much the train station changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

This reminds me of something a friend in São Paulo mentioned. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether real stayed easy. This pairs weirdly well with idli.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. That is where the boring checklist helps. This is why house rules need a constitution.

I am cheering for this update. The rainy evening version is even more interesting.

I wish more posts had this much context. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

Love the tiny experiment energy. A little friction removed goes a long way.

Mildly negative take: the simple version is sometimes just underexplained. My friend tried it in Berlin and had the opposite result. That final turn energy is unbeatable.

Wonderful detail. It makes the whole thing feel real. For me it came down to the setup.
