My favorite low-effort upgrade for astronomy in Manila

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 7 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. rockets got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

Great point, especially the part about favorite. The delightful constraint is probably the real story.

I am stealing that phrase.

This is the gentle version of my rant.

Honestly, this is a little too vague to be useful. My friend tried it in Lisbon and had the opposite result.
