Web Dev · by Nour Ali · 2026-10-05

A tiny win from Istanbul that made my week with a surprising constraint

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Web Dev feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 7 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 2 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

This has cozy competence written all over it. I keep a note about performance for exactly this reason.

I disagree a bit. made matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. This is more useful on a tired busy month than on a perfect day.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.
