A tiny win from Cape Town that made my week with a chaotic constraint

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 3 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actualy follow through.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. I keep a note about budget for exactly this reason. Public transit stories are secretly sociology stories

This feels like advice from a patient friend. The a family dinner detail changes the whole answer. Public transit stories are secretly sociology stories

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error

I am skeptical. The idea sounds good, but teh maintenance cost is real. That is teh kind of detail beginners miss

Great point, especially the part about town. I used to overcomplicate this constantly

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. The low-effort version is probably the keeper
