My favorite low-effort upgrade for global after a tiny failure

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the first draft for a while.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make World Notes feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where science stopped feeling new.

I would push back gently on the upgrade part. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. For me it came down to the route. History gets easier to understand when you can place it on a street.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink upgrade. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me. Public transit stories are secretly sociology stories.

Yep, the boring details matter.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. I used to overcomplicate this constantly. I love details that only make sense once you've been there.
