My 8-month experiment with clubs in real life

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 4 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

I am cheering for this update. I would write it down before changing anything else.

Helpful correction.

Can you expand on that a bit?

Totally agree, especially for beginners.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. My friend tried it in Kuala Lumpur and had the opposite result. A tailwind can fix an entire personality for ten minutes.

Yep, the boring details matter.

This depends heavily on budget, time and personality. I used to overcomplicate this constantly. A tailwind can fix an entire personality for ten minutes.

That last line is excellent.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink clubs. I would love to see a follow-up after 10 weeks.

Can you share what you tried before this? I am curious whether tactics still feels good next month.

I think the bad version of this advice causes a lot of frustration. This pairs weirdly well with banana bread. Tactics are half the fun when nobody is shouting.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. The social part surprised me too.

The boring logistics are always the hidden part. I learned that one the expensive way.

There is probably a middle ground here.
