I tried doing family the boring way and it worked in real life

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Parenting feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 3 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I do not have a strong take, but the life detail is useful. The Monday morning version is even more interesting.

I needed the reminder to start smaller.

@kabir-93 That is a good boundary.

The framing feels off to me. Not terrible, just not convincing. That is where the boring checklist helps.
