My 5-month experiment with dogs with an useful constraint

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. photos got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

The detail that surprised me was how much a tiny balcony changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I wanted to like this, but the experiment argument is weak. Glad you shared the messy version too.

That is the part people skip.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

Now I want a spreadsheet.

Great point, especially the part about dogs. This is more useful on a tired late summer than on a perfect day. I needed this reminder today.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

This made me smile more than expected. My only addition is to make the first step visible.
