Unpopular Opinions · by Pixel Coder · 2026-10-05

I finally understand why Unpopular Opinions people care about opinions in real life

I started this because my lunch break felt a little stuck, and culture seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 4 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. This is more useful on a tired quiet Sunday than on a perfect day. Glad you shared the messy version too.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Buenos Aires? I would love to see a follow-up after 8 weeks. I needed this reminder today.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Lagos? I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

The finally angle is what sold me. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

There is probably a middle ground here. My only addition is to make the first step visible.
