What I wish I knew before trying study on a budget

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where study stopped feeling new.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 9 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I started this because my Monday morning felt a little stuck, and study seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept

maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger then the post suggests. My friend tried it in Kuala Lumpur and had the opposite result

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. This is more useful on a tired Monday morning than on a perfect day

I am mostly here for the follow-up. The social part surprised me too

I think the bad version of this advice causes a lot of frustration. I keep a note about languages for exactly this reason

There is probably a middle ground here. A little friction removed goes a long way. Public transit stories are secretly sociology stories

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending

I think this advice is overrated. My friend tried it in Madrid and had the opposite result

That is a much better way to say it

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. I would write it down before changing anything else
