How do you get better at workplace without burning out without fancy tools?

I had a disappointing first try a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

The detail that surprised me was how much the train station changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy

I would make the decision with cash flow, risk, and optionality in mind rather than chasing the perfect answer. The trap is trying to optimize before you have feedback.

- Start small and make the next step obvious.
- Keep notes so you can compare what worked.
- Ask someone with recent experience, not just strong opinions.

Come back with what happened; the details will make the next answer better

Ask for the total compensation, growth path and manager expectations. Salary matters, but so does the environment you will live in daily. For me it came down to the playlist

That should give you a solid first pass
