Which option would you choose this Monday morning on a budget

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 3 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the setup for a while.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. recipes got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I started this because my rainy evening felt a little stuck, and technique seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Surprised more people aren't choosing Takeout treat. It seems like the practical answer. For me it came down to the setup.

Yep, the boring details matter.

@marauderRunner43 I would love a follow-up example.

I picked Keep it simple, mostly because it feels easiest to live with. The Seoul example makes it feel concrete.

This is the gentle version of my rant.

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

Thanks for making it less intimidating.

I laughed, but you are not wrong.

I picked Keep it simple, mostly because it feels easiest to live with. That is where the boring checklist helps.

I am stealing that phrase.

@pixel-60 That is a much better way to say it.

Takeout treat got my vote. The other choices are good, but this one fits my week. This pairs weirdly well with bibimbap.

Keep it simple got my vote. The other choices are good, but this one fits my week. I would write it down before changing anything else.
