I finally understand why Funny people care about memes that actually stuck

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 4 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. memes got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I started this because my commute felt a little stuck, and silly seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Good reminder that boring can be good. The social part surprised me too.

Helpful correction.

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself. I would love to see a follow-up after 3 weeks.

Good reminder that boring can be good. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near my desk.

This. Exactly this.

Big fan of this approach. It sounds small, but the route matters. Small progress still counts.

You just saved me a bad purchase.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience.

That is a good question for people with more experience than me.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the library. The follow-through matters more than the perfect plan.
