I finally understand why Open Source people care about licenses after 13 tries

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 7 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I started this because my weekend felt a little stuck, and maintainers seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

The detail that surprised me was how much a coworking table changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 9 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

What would you change if you started over? That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

This comment has main-character footnote energy.

That is the part people skip.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. The delightful part is easy to underestimate.

Totally agree, especially for beginners.

This reminds me of something a friend in São Paulo mentioned. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.
