Today I learned about Machine learning in real life

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 8 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I started this because my lunch break felt a little stuck, and ethics seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether learning stayed easy. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

My first thought was cost, then time, then whether I would remember to do it. That is where the boring checklist helps.

Kind of wild how often remember is the whole issue.

I think both things can be true.

That last line is excellent. I would test it for 7 days before deciding.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. I keep a note about ethics for exactly this reason.

Beautifully concise.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 8 months. I would write it down before changing anything else.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 9 months. I noticed the same thing in Cape Town.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about learned. My only addition is to make the first step visible.
