A beginner mistake I am weirdly glad I made

I tried this in Buenos Aires with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where routes stopped feeling new.

The conclusion is too broad, but the example is interesting. The Toronto example makes it feel concrete.

Fair pushback.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

Great point, especially the part about beginner. My only addition is to make the first step visible. Consistency beats intensity here.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Nairobi? For me it came down to the recipe.
