Notes from a very normal quiet Sunday with Books with a messy constraint
Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the conversation for a while.
I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

Big fan of this approach. It sounds small, but the tiny repair matters.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. The Seoul example makes it feel concrete.

That would annoy me more than it helped. I would love to see a follow-up after 9 weeks.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. I would test it for 3 days before deciding.

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. The ambitious constraint is probably the real story.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. The 2-minute rule is underrated.
