The surprising joy of doing the tiny repair badly at first for absolute beginners

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 7 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

I started this because my busy month felt a little stuck, and photos seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

@aaravbakes That is the part people skip.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

Thanks for making it less intimidating.

I think both things can be true.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. The Nairobi example makes it feel concrete.

I wish more posts had this much context. A little friction removed goes a long way.

The vibe here is immaculate. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

That made the concept click.
