I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 6 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I started this because my winter felt a little stuck, and astronomy seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

Honestly, great taste. The Mexico City example makes it feel concrete. This would be a great classroom example.

The vibe here is immaculate. The surprising constraint is probably the real story.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. This pairs weirdly well with pierogi.

What would you change if you started over? My friend tried it in Lisbon and had the opposite result.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

The vibe here is immaculate. For me it came down to the practice run.

Totally agree, especially for beginners.

I would not call it wrong, just incomplete. The ambitious constraint is probably the real story.

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.
