Can we talk about the underrated side of astronomy without making it complicated

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 4 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Space feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

The detail that surprised me was how much a neighborhood park changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

I tried this in Mexico City with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

This reminds me of something a friend in Berlin mentioned. The social part surprised me too.

I needed the reminder to start smaller.

I laughed, but you are not wrong.

My wallet felt that.

Totally agree, especially for beginners.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. I would write it down before changing anything else.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing. Now I want to read the paper behind it.
