I tried doing tactics the boring way and it worked with a beautiful constraint

I tried this in Melbourne with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

I started this because my lunch break felt a little stuck, and soccer seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 6 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

There is probably a middle ground here. For me it came down to the first draft.

Honestly, great taste. That is where the boring checklist helps.
